The Newmont Normandy Gold Nugget, the second largest gold nugget still in existence at 25.5kg (819oz), Perth Mint, Perth, Western Australia, Australia. It was discovered in 1995 in a dry creek bed near Kalgoorlie and currently ranks as the 26th largest gold nugget ever unearthed. It is 80-90% pure gold.
